I'm a fan from the Philippines, i just wanted to say that me and
my friends got so emotional after Melinda's unexpected exit to American
Idol. Since the show started i knew there's something unique in
her personality. Eventually she proves that singing should come
form the heart. Philippines is very far from America but when she
sings it feels like we are two worlds together. I know Humility
made all her performances great not to mention her God given talent
on singing.
Eversince i never had an Idol in my life,after i saw her now i can
say that Melinda is my Idol from now on. I hope i can see her personally.
Melinda I Love You and God's gift to me. Knowing you makes me feel
that God really loves us...I can't wait for your album...

My family been rooting for you since the auditions. Finally, a
TRUE STAR of natural GOD given talent . You are by far , the most
talented singer in American Idol. We love every songs that you sang.
Always waited for your turn, week after week.You don't miss a beat.
Every performance is flawless.
I never written a fan mail before, but we are all dismayed at last
week's result . My sister even joked , "Let's watched the replay.
Probably Blake will be tossed out. I'm sure by this time, they realize
they made their biggest mistake of eliminating Melissa"
We really angry and dissapointed The producers will have to revised
their voting system. They have to rethink fast or they will lose
their credibility even their ratings I have to suggest about 50%
coming from the judges, 50% from the voting public. Enough with
the popularity contest. This is a singing competition..... .
In a good note, Melissa don't despair. With that kind of voice,
nothing is impossible. You are Top class. Offers will pour in, more
than you can handle. We believe in you. Anxiously waiting for your
album release.

The American Idol will win based on popularity rather than talent.
The American Idol winner based on talent is Melinda regardless who
wins this week. I will be waiting for the release of her first CD
and her winning a Grammy for being the Best (fill in the blanks).

I was so disapointed last week :( I know there is something better
for you out there. I don't believe there is a better singer/performer
in the world today. I really think you are better than anyone that

Hello Melinda,
I am a 66 year old fan of yours who enjoyed you singing more than
you can imagine. You are truly one of the most passionate singers
I have ever heard. And because you are so talented and warm hearted,
I am hoping that you might take a moment to read a paragraph or
two about something that is very important to me.
Around thirty years ago II wrote a poem that has a very powerful
message. Just recently I have put that poem into music and had it
professionally recorded. I was told by the woman who sang my song
to go out there and find someone with the right style and passion
to make it her own. Melinda, you are the first person to come to
my mind. I would like to email you the song to have you listen to
it and see what you think. The melody is simple and the message
is strong. I truly believe that people of all ages can connect with
